Messrs Delaney & Co. is an interior design and decorating practice that specialises in residential and commercial projects.

Overseen by creative director Shane Delaney, the studio is committed to helping our clients create spaces that tell the story of their home.

With a background in theatre and lighting design and, after nearly 15 years working across West End theatres and cultural institutions in London, Shane decided to bring his various areas of expertise and experience together in Messrs Delaney & Co. in 2023.

In his previous work, Shane has learned that a truly successful design should focus less on trends and more on the story of each space, and the people who live in them. In this way, each design scheme is truly unique and reflective of the ways in which the spaces best function for the people who live there.

We have a particular passion for period property, having worked across numerous listed buildings in the past. Now, Messrs Delaney & Co. works exclusively with Dr Anthony Delaney, house historian, to authentically honour individual historic buildings while designing a functional, comfortable, and liveable home.

However, as a native Yorkshireman, Shane has a no-nonsense approach to each individual brief, and strongly believes that interior design services should be available to everyone. With this in mind, we have curated a list of services that, we hope, will appeal to all budgets and projects - particularly now.
